New board members join Farmers Bank and Trust

Farmers Bank and Trust made the announcement that two new members have joined the Board.

Kevin Keller joins the Board of Directors of Farmers Bank and Trust. He has been associated with the bank for 11 years an advisory director of Farmers Bank since the fourth quarter of 2000. Kevin is co-owner and President of Keller Real Estate and Insurance Agency, Inc. in his capacity as a real estate broker and insurance agent, having joined the company in 1986. He is also involved in farming and rental management. Kevin attended GBHS and then graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Fort Hays State University in 1986.

Kevin has been active in the community as a Past President and Board member of Downtown Development, Past President and Vice President of Great Bend Board of Realtors, Past Chamber Board Member and Leadership Graduate, Active Parrish Member and Past Prince of Peace Finance Committee Member, and CKMC Foundation Board Member, among others.

Kevin resides in Great Bend with his wife, Lori and two children, Grant and Alyssa.

Monte Robbins serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of CapWest Mortgage Corporation, which will become a division of Farmers Bank in 2011 as required by the new Dodd-Frank Law. Monte has led CapWest’s aggressive growth strategy which helped the company fund over $1 Billion in home loans during 2010.

A native of Great Bend and graduate of Great Bend High School, he attended the University of Michigan and played college football under Coach Bo Schembechler.

Monte and his wife Holly reside in Olathe, with their two children, Nicole and Will.
