State of Kansas 40 year award Courtney (Stephens) Fulton was awarded a 40 year pin from Governor Brownback for working 40 years for the state of Kansas. In July of 1974, she began work for the State Fire Marshalls Office. In March of 1977, she started in the Department of Administration, Division of Purchases. In January 2005, she went to the Office of Administrative Hearings, where she is currently employed. Courtney is the daughter of Martha (Stephens) Schriock of Hoisington.
