How it all Started!

Blayne B. knew he wanted to be a musician since he was 8 years old.

That’s when the Harlem Globetrotters visited his school, Central Kansas Christian Academy, and asked him about his future plans. He confidently replied, “to become a rapper like Bow Wow.” Bow Wow was his idol at the time, a young star who was taking over the music industry.

Blayne got his first chance to follow his footsteps when his stepfather, Shawn Hutchinson, who owns Satellite Pros and is a Barton County commissioner, gave him a USB microphone. This is the microphone that would be used to record Blayne’s first single, “Listen to Your Heart,” at the age of 12. That song was the beginning of Blayne’s musical journey, and also set the tone for his future work. He used music as an outlet and turned it into a lifestyle while experimenting with different genres and styles. He covered Eminem songs in middle school, and created original songs and viral projects in high school.

He gained attention for his talent and his passion for emotional music. “When I’m making music, it feels like I’m floating in a cloud of ideas,” he said. He also found inspiration from reading other writers and listening to tons of different music in his childhood, thanks to his dad Tron Buehler’s obsession with vinyl records.

Where is Blayne Now?

After graduating from Great Bend High School, Blayne moved to Wichita and pursued his career further. He now splits his time between Wichita and Nashville, where he works with his producer, Johnny Reno, who is signed to BMG. Reno also produced Flo Rida’s newest track, “Beauty and the Beach.” Blayne owns his own record label, Star Records Incorporated, where he retains all the rights to his music and plans to bring up the future of Kansas artists.

He has made soundtracks for ESPN and Netflix’s hit TV show “All American,” He’s also been featured as ESPN’s Artist of the Month. His manager, Travis Sutliff, who also used to manage Dolly Parton, has recently joined the team and plans to take Blayne’s career to the next level.

Blayne currently records at BMG studios in Nashville, which is the same studio that Jelly Roll, Jason Aldean, and Bebe Rexha use.

He has over 50 songs in his discography, and he is releasing his newest album on March 15th.

The album will focus on the different aspects of love, such as romance, heartbreak, and selflove. He plans to release three new songs every six weeks for the rest of the year, giving his fans a steady stream of fresh music.
