Marge Ney Conell of Great Bend will celebrate her 80th birthday on April 5, with a card shower.
Marge was born on April 5, 1936, in Hanston. She is married to Dorvan Conell. She graduated from the Dominican School of Nursing in 1957, and she worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Rose Hospital in Great Bend, the Hoisington Lutheran Hospital and the Ellinwood District Hospital. She became the Administrator of Ellinwood District Hospital in 1979, retiring in 2001. She enjoys traveling, painting, reading and spending time with family. She has five children, Jerry Ney and John Ney of Great Bend, Tom Ney of Topeka, Amy Ney of Great Bend and Jean Clarke of Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
