League of Women Voters of Great Bend will hold the monthly meeting at noon on Tuesday at The Club at Stone Ridge. Lunch will be from the menu. The program will be provided by Randy Smith from Barton Community College He teaches in the criminal justice program. He was a former KBI agent. He will be discussing the high rate of narcotics use and alcoholism in Barton County.

The luncheon is informal and time will be allowed for questions and discussion from the floor. The public is invited to attend and participate in the discussion.

League is a non-partisan organization devoted to infonning and educating the voting public on national, state, and local issues of importance. Membership is open to both men and women. Come join League for lunch and ask questions.
