The Parnassus Club met Sept. 13, at Treader’s for the fall kickoff.
Eight members were present. The minutes of the May meeting were read and approved.
Chari announced that the books for the year will be finalized and delivered to members. There are openings yet to be filled for hostess, co-hostess and program.
The programs this year will be studies of American composers presented on following months - October: Leonard Bernstein; November: Cole Porter; December: John Phillip Sousa; January: Aaron Copeland; February: Gershwin, Ira and George; March: Henry Mancini; April: Audition winners; May: Annual Spring luncheon.
