Great Bend USD 428 hosted the annual Vocal Music Showcase on Wednesday morning at the Great Bend Senior Center. Children from second grade at Park Elementary, and from the fifth and six grade at Lincoln Elementary and Eisenhower Elementary, each took turns singing for the senior citizens and their family members who attended the program. Then two groups from Great Bend Middle School, Music in Motion and Women in Harmony, shared selections from their Winter Concert, which will be held on Dec. 14 at 7 p.m. at the GBHS Auditorium. High school students were unable to attend because many of them were at Barton Community College’s Senior Day.
