Golden Belt Home Health & Hospice (GBHH&H) will sponsor a Monday evening grief support group in Great Bend from May 5 through June 30.  It will meet each Monday (except Memorial Day) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. in Conference Room 103 of the Medical Building at 3520 Lakin. Entrance is on Lincoln Ave.
Hospice Chaplain John Grummon and GBHH&H Social Worker Cathy Soeken will lead the group.
“Cathy and I will guide the participants, and help them provide support to one another,” Grummon said. “This group setting is a comforting place to share and learn new ways to approach grief.”
All discussions are confidential, Soeken emphasized.
“Everyone is encouraged to share their feelings and thoughts, along with mementos and memories of loved ones,” she commented. “This helps others learn more about the loved ones who have passed away.”
Anyone interested in attending the grief support group may contact Grummon or Soeken for further details by calling 620-792-8171.
GBHH&H is part of St. Rose Ambulatory & Surgery Center, which is under the Centura Health umbrella.
