Band members will give the gift of music to everyone at 8 p.m.  on Monday at the Great Bend High School Gym. Ensembles performing will be the GBHS Jazz, Junior Varsity and Varsity Bands.
The Panther Jazz Band will kick off the concert with Joy to the World, followed by Winter Poem, White Christmas and wrap it up with Have a Cool Yule. The Junior Varsity Band will play Jingle Bell Fantasy, A Noel Night, Christmas Lullaby and Holiday Cheers. Varsity Band pieces are And All the Bells Shall Ring, Triumph of the Skies, Farandole for “L’Arlesienne,” and Christmas Fugue. These groups are directed by Mr. Mark DeWald and assisted by Mr. Austin Russell. There will be a short meeting for parents and students attending the Band Trip to Branson in March following the concert.
The concerts are free to the public and everyone is urged to attend to share in the holiday spirit.
