MACKSVILLE — The seventh annual Macksville Bikes & Blues Rally will be held May 6-8 in the City Park at Macksville. There will be live music, food venders, bike games and free camping in the park.

This year’s live “music for the soul” includes Glenn Kaiser, is a Chicago-based blues musician, singer-songwriter who was the leader of the Resurrection Band in the ’70s and ’80s. A Master Blues Artist and Ambassador in the Blues Hall Of Fame, he continues to tour in Europe and the United States.
Eddie Day, from Princeton, WV. is a singer-songwriter with all different musical styles, and an awesome guitarist. He is a Great Blues Artist in the Blues Hall of Fame.
The Rev. Jimmie Bratcher is from Kansas City, Mo., and is also a Great Blues Artist in the Blues Hall of Fame. He can be found delivering heart-pounding blues to sold-out audiences all across America. The Paul Draper Band from Salina will accompany Jimmie and provide their own music with Paul on the keyboard. The Big Mac Combo from Andover will also perform.
On Sunday May 8, there will be biscuits and gravy served from 7-8:30 a.m. The worship service will be at 9 a.m. with a special speaker to bring the message.
Come by motorcycle, bike or car. “Looking forward to seeing you there,” said Overbey. This is a family friendly event and no alcohol of illegal substances are allowed.
