The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn session titled “Preparing for a Spring Landscape” from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th. Attendees will learn how to plant bulbs, bed down perennials and care for turf so that they thrive after the winter.  

Barton County Agriculture and Natural Resource Agent Alicia Boor will be the presenter for this program.
