Driver injured in one-vehicle rollover
1-Tribune

Only the driver was injured Thursday evening when a 2004 GMC Yukon went off SE 130 Ave., 4.5 miles south of Ellinwood. Seven passengers were not injured.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred at 8:04 p.m. as Emma A. Ricker, 16, of Ellinwood was driving south. When the passenger side tires left the roadway, the driver overcorrected and the vehicle skidded across to the east ditch, rolled, and landed in a wheat field.
Ricker was taken to Great Bend Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident.
None of the passengers, all Ellinwood teenagers, were wearing seat belts.
The Yukon was removed by Marshalls towing service.
