Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made 10 ambulance runs on Friday, nine on Saturday and three on Sunday. There was one fire call on Saturday. At 8:20 p.m. units responded to a possible structure fire at 705 10th St. Upon arrival units found a birds nest that was smoldering next to the back of a neon sign. The power was shut down to the sign and the birds nest extinguished.

Fraud was reported at 905 Hubbard St.
Theft of a wallet was reported at Marys Kitchen located at 2424 10th St.
Criminal damage was reported at SRCA Dragstrip located at 9951 B-29 Way. Windows were broken out of the street sweeper.
Theft was reported at Walmart located at 3503 10th St.
Criminal damage was reported at 2917 28th St. A vehicle was damaged.
May 7
A narcotics violation was reported at 3910 Cedar Park. Taylor Reed was arrested for possession of meth and paraphernalia.
Criminal damage was reported at 2223 Lakin Ave. A screen was cut on a window.
Theft of a Ipad and baseball gear was reported at the Great Bend Sports Complex located at 41 McKinley St.
A non-injury accident was reported at 2221 19th St.
Theft of shoes was reported at Goodwill located at 1705 Main St.
A non-injury accident was reported in the 1200 Block of Main St.
Criminal use of a financial card was reported at Bank of the west located at 1200 Kansas Ave.
Criminal damage was reported at Discount Laundry located at 924 Jefferson St.
An injury accident was reported at K-96 and 24th St. A vehicle driven by Tonya Jacobs was heading northwest on K-96 striking a vehicle driven by Marc Webster which was southwest on K-96 making a left turn onto 24th St.

A narcotics violation was reported at 1919 Monroe.
Criminal damage was reported at 1814 Willow Lane. A fence was damaged.
