GREAT BEND — Reba J. Raleigh, 96, passed away July 14, 2020, at Medicalodges of Great Bend. She was born June 12, 1924, at Hobart, Okla., the daughter of Clifford C. & Margaret (Jackson) Williams. She married John Richard Raleigh on October 9, 1944, at Frederick, Okla. He died February 20, 1999.
She was employed by Central Kansas Medical Center, Thurman-Morrison and Associates, and Dr. John J. Mingenback. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Great Bend. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include, a son, Joe D. Raleigh and wife Sandra of Wichita; one sister, Merideth Lohn of Willcox, Ariz.; one sister in law, Fern Raleigh of Windom; two granddaughters, Karen Dennett and husband Michael, and Kimberly Foster and husband Henry; five great grandchildren, Tyler Dennett and wife Ashley, Joshua Dennett, Baylea Dennett, John Foster, and Brianna Foster; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R. Raleigh; and three sisters, Erma Mansell, Lorene Watson, and June Lyde.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 17, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home. A private family burial will take place in the Windom Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Kans for Kids or Kindred Hospice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
