Sunflower Bank announced the promotion of Lynda Jamison to vice president and market manager of Sunflower Bank’s Central Kansas locations in Great Bend and Ellinwood.
Jamison, previously assistant vice president, will continue to oversee all customer service and business development initiatives at Sunflower Bank’s office in Great Bend, 3600 10th Street and the bank’s Ellinwood location: 13 N. Main. Prior to serving as assistant vice president, Lynda was customer service officer in Sunflower Bank’s Central Kansas locations.
“Few bankers are as knowledgeable and passionate about their communities as Lynda is about Great Bend and Ellinwood,” said Sandy Jacobs, executive vice president of Sunflower Bank. “A talented banker and lender, she’ll continue to serve as a resource for our Central Kansas customers.”
Jamison will remain focused on commercial lending, mortgage lending and relationship development. Chet Lang, President of Sunflower Bank McPherson, also will assist in local commercial lending and business development efforts.
Jamison is an active member of the Barton County community, serves on the board of directors for Central Kansas Development Inc. and is a member of the Barton Community College Business Advisory Board. She also is a member of the Great Bend Chamber of Commerce Ambassador organization..
Jamison joined Sunflower Bank in 2003, after working at Barton County Community College. She is a graduate of Barton County Community College, Barclay College (Haviland) and is a 2008 alumnus of the Principles of Commercial Lending School of Banking. She lives in Great Bend with her husband, Mike. Son Bruce is a U.S. Air Force Pilot stationed in the U.K., and daughter Bethany is a recent graduate of Sidney’s Hairdressing College.
