Mr. and Mrs. Randall Smith of Great Bend will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a reception and dance at 7 p.m. on June 5, at the American Legion, 1011 Kansas Avenue in Great Bend. Friends and family are invited to attend. They request no gifts.
Sandy Pedigo and Randall Smith were united in marriage on June 4, 1965, at the First United Methodist Church, 2123 Forest in Great Bend. Randy is retired from the Kansas Bureau of Investigation with 26 years of service and retired from Barton Community College with 16 years. He is currently employed part time with the Barton County Sheriff’s Office. Sandy is retired from Rosewood Gallery with 15 years of service. The couple have a son David Smith and wife Heather of Great Bend; four grandchildren Kenda, Kaycee, Madison and Mckayla, all of Great Bend; and a great-granddaughter, Ava Vonfeldt of Great Bend.
