Cecil and Leona Cheney will celebrate their 75th wedding anniversary with a come-and-go celebration on Saturday, June 24. The event, hosted by their family, will be from 2-4 p.m. at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 1109 N. Vine, Hoisington.

The Cheneys were married on June 20, 1948, in Hutchinson. Hoisington has been their home since 1952.

They have two daughters, Carolyn Mitchell (husband, Jim), Prescott, Ariz. and Jolene Sparks (husband, Darrel), Perry, Okla. They are also blessed with four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
