Youth Pastor Megan Tate at Encounter Church invited youths to a Summer Sidewalk Chalk Challenge. Kids were challenged to create a summer scene on their sidewalk or driveway and submit a photo. Entries were due June 9 and Tate received 13 entries. Everyone who submitted an entry received a prize. Names were drawn from a hat to determine who received prizes such as gift cards to fast food restaurants, summer fun baskets for the pool and a Squashmellow toy.
