Kara Melchert and Reilly Duncan were united in marriage on Feb. 19, at the Peace Church in Hudson, with Pastor Wade Russell officiating. Parents of the couple are Linda Melchert of Benkelman and Richard Melchert of Trenton, and Von Stewart and Gayla Duncan of Hudson. Grandparents of the bride are Omar and Delores Robb formerly of Grand Island and Al and Burdean Melchert of Stratton, Neb. Grandparents of the groom are Vaugh Duncan of Great Bend and Richard Fischer of Hudson.
Flower girl was Aubrey Melchert, niece of the bride, of Kearney. Ring bearer was Brayden Melchert, the nephew of the bride, of Kearney. Ushers were Nathan Baker and Linc Ostmeyer of Goodland.
The bride graduated from Dundy County High School in 2007 and Northwest Community College in Goodland in 2010. She is employed as a medical assistant for Dr. Donald E. Beahm, M.D. Eye Surgeon.
The groom graduated from Ellinwood High School in 2004 and Northwest Community College in Goodland in 2010. He is certified in heating and cooling and works for Meyers Electric in Stafford.
The couple honeymooned in Denver, Colo.
