OLMITZ – On Tuesday, approximately 150 hay bales valued at over $25,000 were reported stolen, Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir said. There were taken between late November and Tuesday from a farm near Olmitz. 

A white truck tractor and semi-trailer, as well as a John Deere tractor, were seen in the area prior to the theft, Bellendir said.
