LORRAINE -- A Lorraine man was injured Saturday in a one vehicle accident in Ellsworth County. Kansas Highway Patrol reports the accident happened shortly before 8 p.m. at Ave. V and 10th Road, just south of the city of Lorraine. Christopher Scott Chamberlain, 26, was northbound on 10th Road, attempting to turn left or west onto Ave. V. Chamberlain said the rear wheels of the Chevy S-10 pickup he was driving locked up, sliding him into the ditch.

He was wearing a seat belt. He was taken to Ellsworth Medical Center.
