Great Bend High School members in the Southwest Kansas Music Educators Association District Honor Band are: Addison Baxter, first chair percussion; Taylor Fry, second chair flute; Estella Schumacher, trumpet first alternate; and Luke Abbott, second chair euphonium. They are part of the 22-county district band that meets in Dodge City on Saturday, Dec. 3. A concert will be given at 3:15 p.m. in the Dodge City High School auditorium. Also at the concert David Meter, activities director at GBHS, will be honored as the District Honored Administrator.
