Sleep apnea clinic

LARNED — Pawnee Valley’s Sleep and Diagnostic Center will sponsor a free sleep apnea awareness clinic from 5-6 p.m. Thursday at Pawnee Valley Community Hospital, 923 Carroll Avenue.
Sleep director Dr. Son Truong, will talk about the harmful affects of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a general term for breathing problems that occur during sleep.
Sleep apnea patients, families and friends are invited to attend.


Diabetes group to meet

LARNED — The local Diabetes Support Group will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Welcome Inn Senior Center, 113 W. 4th.

Chamber coffee set

LARNED — The Larned Chamber of Commerce weekly coffee will showcase NetWork Kansas at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Chamber office, 502 Broadway.
NetWork Kansas is growing an entrepreneurial environment in Kansas by cultivating resources to start and grow small businesses. The statewide network of non-profit business-building resources helps small business owners start up and grow successful businesses.
