Macksville man dies in U.S. 50 crash

KINSLEY — A Macksville man died Sunday night when the car he was driving collided with an oncoming truck on U.S. 50, 2 miles east of Kinsley.
Kansas Highway Patrol reports Agustin Bustamante-Alba, 38, died as a result of the collision, while the truck driver, Kaleb Edward Locke, 25, from Sedgwick was taken to Edwards County Hospital with possible injury.
The crash occurred at 9:10 p.m. when the eastbound 2001 Buick Regal went left of center and collided with the westbound International truck.
The patrol did not report whether Bustamante-Alba was wearing a seat belt. Locke was wearing one.
