Dayoung Kimn a fourth generation Christian born and raised in Seoul, Korea will be ministering at Faith Community Church April 16 and 17. Dayoung immigrated to the US in 1979. He received his training from “Youth with a Mission,” of Hawaii and received his ordination from the International Church of Foursquare Gospel.
Dayoung’s ministry has been in missions working with the underground churches in China and Vietnam teaching and raising up Christian leaders, and evangelizing the youth through various evangelism outreaches from the 1990.
In 2000, he founded the Jesus Farm in Korea in order to strengthen the body of Christ by equipping and training through Spiritual Training Schools, seminars, and outreaches to Asia and Europe.
Jesus Farm focuses in three areas of ministry: training, evangelism and mercy. Under the mercy wing, in 2005 Eagle’s Nest Foundation was founded in Mukilteo, Wash. to send medical supplies and school supplies to the missionaries and the nationals to equip hospitals, mission organizations and schools in the developing countries worldwide.
One of the countries that Dayoung has been involved directly and indirectly since the 90’s has been N. Korea. Presently, he is working closely with Pyongyang University of Sci and Tech as a Special Envoy under the president of the university.
