The Great Bend Street Department will be working on 19th Street excavating and replacing areas of concrete between McKinley and Polk Street starting Feb. 29th. Work will start at McKinley and work east. 19th Street from McKinley to Cleveland Street will be blocked to allow local traffic only. Signs will be in place. Work will then move east and block from Cleveland to McKinney. The street will be blocked from McKinney to Lincoln. Homeowners in the area will be able to access their driveways. If they are in doubt the Street Department will help them in any way they can. Work is expected to be completed in 3 weeks. Call the Street Department at 793-4150 with questions.
