John Nelson Strecker, a native of Great Bend, Kan. and a resident of Greenwell Springs, La. passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024 at the age of 62. John was the son of Dennis Dale Strecker, Sr. and Mary (Davis) Strecker. He was graduate of GBHS class of 1979. 

Survivors include father, Dennis Sr. and brother Dennis Strecker, Jr. both of Great Bend, Kan.; two sons; one daughter; and two grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his mother, Mary; wife, Lisa (Burks) Strecker; and sister-in-law Joyce Strecker.

Visitation and services will be held Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Greenoaks Funeral Home, Baton Rouge, La. Condolences can be sent to Dennis Strecker, 301 Bermuda Road, Great Bend, Kansas, 67530.
