LENEXA — The Great Bend girls earned a season-best time placing 18th in the 200-yard medley relay at the 5A state swimming meet Friday at the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center.

The Panthers delivered a season-best medley relay time (2:08.54) with Meredith Mazouch, Emma Beahm, Emma Snapp and Sydney Piland.

Great Bend matched its season-best time (1:54.46) while placing 20th in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

The Paanthers' 400-yard freestyle relay finished 22nd (4:25.4).
