HUTCHINSON — Jonna Jenkins, Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.), will join Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System (HRHS) as Chief Nursing Officer effective July 6. In this position, Jenkins will coordinate with internal and external team members to continue delivery of high quality and professional services at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.
Jenkins has a Master’s Degree in Science and Nursing and a doctorate in Nursing Practice, both from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz. She is a member of several nurse related organizations including the Texas and American Nursing Association, and American Organization for Nursing Leadership.
Currently, Dr. Jenkins serves as Director of Clinical Operations at Ascension Health System in Austin, Texas. Previously she served in several other leadership positions within the same organization.
