Jay and Kathy Mai of Great Bend announce the engagement of their daughter, Jacqueline Mai, to Shane Becker, son of Elmer and Marvella Becker of Great Bend.
The bride elect is a 1994 graduate of Great Bend High School. She graduated from Cloud County Community College in 1999 with an associates degree in Criminal Justice and in 2003 from Hutchinson Community College with an Associate of Science degree in Health Information Technology. She is employed by TransTech Medical Solutions of Houston, Texas.
The prospective groom is a 1996 graduate of Great Bend High School. He is employed by the City of Ellinwood as a police officer.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 1 in Great Bend.
