Rous — Doze
Calvin and Terri Rous of Hoisington announce the engagement of their daughter Calie Rous of Hays to Joseph Doze of Hays, son of Ken and Teri Doze of Hoisington. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Shirley Detter of Hoisington and the late Bob Detter and the late Clarence and Winnie Rous. The prospective groom is the grandson of Margaret Saavedra of Grants, N.M. and the late Joe Saavedra, and Florence Doze of Hoisington and the late Robert Doze.
The bride-elect is a graduate of MTTI-Wellspring in Lawrence as a certified massage therapist and is attending Hutchinson Community College. She is employed as a massage therapist at the Station in Great Bend.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Barton Community College and Fort Hays State University with a degree in music composition. He is employed as the assistant manager of Qdoba’s Mexican Grill in Hays.
The wedding is planned for May 23, at St. Johns the Evangelist Catholic Church in Hoisington.
