Great Bend Fire/EMS
Firefighters made five ambulance runs Thursday. There was one false alarm at 4:04 p.m., when cooking set off a smoke detector at a residence in the 800 block of Williams St.

Windows were broken at McDonald Tank & Equipment Co., 620 Morton St., it was reported Thursday.
Vehicles driven by Travis Greene and Kolton Nettleingham collided at 1 p.m. on 10th St.

Barton County Sheriff
Two vehicles at 98 SE 20 Road were burglarized sometime Wednesday night, it was reported Thursday.
A cow was on the Cow Creek Bridge in the 1100 block of K-4 at 5:58 p.m. Thursday.
