GARDEN CITY — Great Bend's emphasis on relays continue to pay off in the Western Athletic Conference swimming meet with runner-up finishes in the 200-yard medley relay and 200 freestyle relay and a third-place in the 400 freestyle relay.

The Panthers' 200-yard medley relay earned a season-best time (2:10.31) with Meredith Mazouch, Emma Beahm, Emma Snapp and Sydney Piland.

The runner-up 200-yard freestyle relay (1:54.4) completed with Hadley Gregg, Beahm, Snapp and Mazouch.

The third-place 400 freestyle relay (4:27.23) swam with Mazouch, Braylee Carper Piland and Snapp.

Great Bend placed third with 187 points, behind Garden City (413) and Hays High (335).
