GREAT BEND — Don Carroll, 68, died Nov. 5, 2014 at his home in Great Bend.
Born Jan. 14, 1946, in Parsons, he was the son of James E. and Anna E. (Hess) Carroll. On Jan. 16, 1971, he married Nancy Lee Steinert in Great Bend. A resident of Great Bend since 1971, coming from Ellinwood, he was employed by EQ Muffler, Great Bend Industries and Westside 66.
Mr. Carroll was of the Catholic faith. He attended the First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Lee Carroll, of the home; a son, John Carroll and his wife Kitt, Lawrence;a daughter, Jaime Harms and her husband Brant, Great Bend; and four grandchildren, Kassidy Harms, Audrie Harms, Melanie Carroll and Madeline Carroll.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Eugene Carroll.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend with Pastor Don Paden officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Great Bend.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
