BEAVER, Okla. — Roy Lee Bobeck, 80, of Beaver, Okla., passed away Oct. 19, 2015, at the Beaver County Memorial Hospital. Born on April 7, 1935, in Great Bend, he was the son of Edward and Clara Mae Bobeck. On May 22, 1953, he graduated from Great Bend High School. On March 17, 1957, he married his longtime sweetheart, Shirley Fay Kimber. He worked for Exxon for 33 years as a pumper.
Survivors include his son Douglas Bobeck and Debbie Brennon; daughter Stephanie Schneider and husband Thomas; seven grandchildren, Aaron Bobeck and wife Amanda, Nick Bobeck and wife Keely, Brody Bobeck, Nathan Anderson, Eric Anderson and Holly Breahan, Savannah Schneider and Brandi Massey; and seven great-grandchildren, Braden Bobeck, Tanner Bobeck, Laramie Bobeck, Tucker Bobeck, Miller Bobeck, Serenati Massey, and Dace Massey. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; parents Edward and Clara Mae Bobeck; brother Charles Bobeck; sister Dorothy Elliott; niece Charlene Bobeck; and nephew Robert Elliott.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 23, at First Christian Church in Beaver, Okla. Interment will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the Great Bend Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Beaver County Funeral Home, 215 Douglas, Beaver, Okla. Memorial donation may be made to Beaver County Memorial Hospital, P.O.
