SEWARD, Neb. — Kristy Fischer of Ellinwood  earned a Master of Science in Education degree from Concordia University, Seward, Neb.

Fischer was a 2019 recipient of the Kansas Horizon Award for first-year educators as a teacher at Ellinwood Middle/High School.
